RAPID in Action
In 2010, RAPID sponsored the development of a research unit inside Rural Development Center (RDC), a Nepali partner organization. This research unit is designed to build upon their extensive track record (over 10 years) in Sustainable Community Development.
Nepal is positioned between India and China, two of the fastest developing countries in the world. Despite the relative successes of its neighbours, Nepal's economic growth rates and human development indicators remain the lowest in South Asia.
